What does 特別行 means?
Pronunciation of 特別行 in Mandarin is 特(Te) 別(Bie) 行(Xing). Te Bie means especially, where Xing has a few different meanings but in here stands for walk or protest.
We discovered this is hidden in the Chinese name of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region(香港特別行政區).
On the 1st of July 1997, the sovereignty of Hong Kong was transferred from the British to the People's Republic of China. From 2003 onwards, a series of protests have been held annually on this day for the public to express their comments and feelings on the government.
This is why "ver 7.1" is marked under the pattern of 特別行 (front of tee), and a pattern of people marching on the street is printed at the back of the tee. There are many "特別行" hidden on the back print, try to find them all out!
